So while we had a civil union on October 5, 2005, and we weremarried on November 12, 2008, we have always celebrated our anniversary on the day we met, September 7, 1979. And of course, congratulations to all the wonderful couples who got married this summer in Connecticut, many of whom have been together for many, many years too.
